They were supposed to record a second 3 track EP titled "Nothing Remains Forever" (with the songs "Into Nowhere" , "Lost" and "In Grief") for Relapse Records but it never happened. After the EP "Consumed by Darkness" they changed name into God Macabre, Thomas Johansson left the band and Jonas Stålhammar played bass in the Pantalgia compialtion song "Ashes of Mourning Life" (former titled "Life's Verge") and in the "Winterlong" cd both issued by MBR Records.

очень олдовая добротная вещь, но возникает вопрос, спустя 10 лет, откуда взяла группа God Dethroned песню Consumed By Darkness на альбоме 2001 года Ravenous? И почему они взяли именно этот трек как кавер (IMG:style_emoticons/default/13.gif) (если это так и есть) с неизвестной практически никому такой вот банды из начала 90-х. Качать всем, кого цепляет дух дэт метала 90-х!

известная и очень, но "в определенных кругах". как известно, на чем музыканты вырастают, то в последствии и каверизируют. это же делается не из меркантильного интереса - привлечь к себе внимание еще раз сделав кавер на Slayer или Metallica, а чисто как дань уважения. Macabre End этого вполне заслуживают. взять Slayer'овский Undisputted... - почти все переигранные на нем группы не известны современному молодому слушателю, это группы от которых торчали по молодости сами чуваки из Slayer.
