I live in the land of emocore. This land is infested with and has bred the epitome of all the "core" genres along with 8th grade looking kids claiming they are metal!

Sonic Syndicate, despite being from Sweden, fits the bill quite well with their American counterparts. As well as being a disgrace to Sweden itself. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/crazy.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/1488.gif)

This single is, again, purely nu metal, which you have to know better, AGAIN, living in the land of nu metal as well (IMG:style_emoticons/default/crazy.gif)

Their mix of melodic death, metalcore and electronic elements, being first modern melodic death, then just modern metal, was far from either typical American metalcore or typical American emocore. It was pretty unique on every album, I'd say.

I would say only about .00000000000000000000001% finds it unique. They were promising....with their first album "Eden Fire" they exploded onto the scene. What ever happened from there.....I do not know. They were unique on their first. Now they've become typical of what you might see in junior high kids skateboarding down the sidewalks...with their tight jeans and t-shirts with a bunch of ridiculous looking makeup and clothing atypical and akin to saying...."Look at me, I'm awesome..EMO RULES"!11111 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/1488.gif)
