для меня это fail ...
слушал всех sts , этот самый слабый....

такое ощущение, что они якобы показывают : мы умеем делать куски с приблэкованным вокалом, с кусочком симфонии и прогрессии.... абсолютно не цепляет...

отдельно, 2й трэк улыбнул.... даже моя девушка сказала( которая слушает попсу) смысл группе играть мд(oom)м, с такими соплями... ни рыба ни мясо

На этом альбоме есть прекрасная песня These Woods Breathe Evil. По каким-то неведомым причинам она меня конкретно зацепила, попала в любимые и постоянно переслушивается.
А в остальном - вполне себе обычный Swallow the Sun, близко по духу к прошлому альбому.

Очень и очень хороший релиз, даже и не ожидал такого после откровенно ужасного, попсового и дерьмового Хоуп. Здесь есть всё, что должно быть в СТС и чего нету в последующем релизе. А именно - тяжелые, но при этом мелодичные песни, прекрасное многоголосие и самое важное - атмосфера. Здесь она на высоте, ни о каких провисаниях и речи быть не может - альбом тёмен, мрачен и обречён. Ни лучика света, ни тени надежды. Одно из лучших творений финнов, которые могут.

Хороший альбом, пусть вся думовая чернота почти подчистую поглощается готическим "оттенком серого". "Sleepless Swans" и "Weight of the World" как раз те вещи, куда готика не смогла проникнуть, они же и самые яркие здесь. С первой из названных песен так и вовсе орать хочется...
