По бархату здесь интерлюдия эмбиентовая, которая четвертым треком идет. Она есть на Спейсе, так что мало ли.
В остальном с VC ничего общего нет. Довольно стандартный шугейблек с задушенным вокалом и пшикающими гитарами.

Не согласен с тем, что он стандартный, или не согласен с соответствием генеральной линии шоблы (sho-bla) в целом? Если второе, то это просто расхождения в трактовке. Упомянутые тобой A. и А. я ни блэком, ни шугейзом не считаю.

Тот А, который Альцест очень даже. Второй А, который амсор, на ЕР 2006 года вполне себе тоже.
По поводу того что не согласен- я уже написал. он гораздо ближе к ВК нежели к любимым мною попсовеньким шугейзовым соплям.

Как-то скучно мне показалось. Хотя интересные моменты есть, не всё потеряно. В "I Soon Will Be Myself Again" обворожительная пелена дисторсии) И вообще к концу альбома становится интереснее.
