Отличная пластинка. Неизобретательно — но разве кто-то ждёт от Krieg наворотов и свежего слова в жанре? А уж с привычной чёрной работой эти американцы справляются на твёрдую пятёрку, в этом и сомневаться не стоит. Взяв быстрый темп в начале альбома, Krieg с каждой песней замедляются, чтобы пройти через размеренный экватер ритуальной „Religion”, кульминировать в почти эмбиентной „Remission” и нанести по расслабившемуся уху удар „Dead Windows”. Не очень, правда, понравилась балансировка саунда: вперёд вырывается по-бульдозерному урчащий бас, ему вторит низко отстроенная гитара, а вот ударные с вокалом завалены на задний план. Впрочем, на третье прослушивание к этому привыкаешь, засчитывая эти мелочи к тому, что нагнетает атмосферу мракъа, чйорнова ужъосъа, которая кроме этого глухого звука создаётся клавишным бэкграундом и синтезаторными же интерлюдиями. Супер. Krieg ist Krieg!
