Совсем нет.
Аморфис перезаписали песни с Тони - они попросту стали звучать по-другому. Так что запросто можно сказать, что у них в какой-то мере полноформатник.
Здесь же просто-напросто компиляция старых тем не кем не перепетых/перезаписанных. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile3.gif)

An EP (short for extended play) is a musical recording which contains more music than a single, but is too short to qualify as a full album or LP. The term EP originally referred only to specific types of vinyl records other than 78 rpm standard play (SP) records and LP records,[1] but it is now applied to mid-length compact discs and music downloads as well.

It has to do with recording length, not with the sort of material included on the EP.

Then Russian wikipedia is wrong. Plain and simple.

Extended Plays are something in between singles and albums (full lenghts), often they do consist of B-sides, live recordings of other "new" material, but also compilation EPs exist or EP-versions of singles (featuring 4 album tracks for promotion) etc.

So I know what you mean but you are still mistaken because "new material" isn't a must. It's not an absolute truth that an EP includes exclusive material. And once again: it has to do with playing lengths (although Moonsorrow's Tulimyrsky runs at more than an hour for instance - there are always exceptions).

Read the English wikipedia for more (technical) information about EPs (and the old "real" vinyl EPs in particular).

121mon, это не пипец, это норма: группа Amon Amarth — попса и ориентирована на широкую аудиторию. А так уж получается, что лучшие свои работы создатели не любят или игнорируют. Большинство любимых мной композиций не попали в компиляцию, хотя я бы её вообще не составлял. Нет в ней никакого смысла.
