[more=Extended info]Shambless (първоначално Shambles) се създава през 1998 в Благоевград като атмосферичен дет метъл проект. В началния период от своето съществуване, бандата участва на множество ъндърграунд фестивали из цяла България. След записването на дебютния албум 'Omnipotentia', издаден през 2003 г., основателят на групата - Павел Рекарски (Arvelss Elfaros) остава сам, като поема изпълнението на всички инструменти. “Omnipotentia” дава нужния тласък на Shambless и в началото на 2004 година, проекта вече има подписан договор с руския лейбъл 'Stygian Crypt Productions' за издаване и разпространяване в международен мащаб на втория албум на Shambless, озаглавен “Apkas Itulia”. Към албума е заснет и видео-клип за парчето „Morba Voila”. “Apkas Itulia” е записан в София и представя развитието на музикалните виждания на Arvelss, като дет метъл корените са изместени от многопластови атмосферични и фолклорни влияния, преплетени с тежък метъл.

В следващите години, Shambless отново се трансформира- този път от изцяло студиен проект в пълнокръвна група. Поставянето на песните на Arvelss на сцена става основна задача в периода между 2005 и 2010 година. Записите на настоящия албум- “Menra Eneidalen” започват още в края на 2008 година и продължават до средата на 2010 –та, в студиото на Ники Велев (Powerdrive, Inspell, Fallen Art) – “Come to Sin”. Настоящото издание включва седем композиции, в характерния стил на бандата, съчетаващ тежък блек/дуум метъл с множество атмосферични и фолклорни пасажи, подчинени на приказна концепция.

Идеология: Връзката между идеологията и музиката в Shambless е изключително важна. Arvelss разкрива на слушателя един приказен свят, наречен „Мокрите Земи”, в който сивотата, подлостта и студенината на нашето ежедневие са чужди. В този смисъл, всички песни на Shambless са изпълнени на въображаем елфически език, наречен 'Tura Ieagan' (в превод „Много надалеч”), а името на настоящия албум “Menra Eneidalen”' се превежда като „Красота и Нежност' .

'Отивайки в Мокрите Земи-Планините на магическите стихии, преминавайки през древните светилища и преброждайки долината осеяна с човешки кости, успяваш само да усетиш смъртта, тъй като не знаеш съкровеното слово, заключило в себе си силата на четирите вятъра. А заповядаш ли на древните символи, тази сила може да вдъхне живот на всичко земно, да раздели от огъня земята и душата й от пламналата пещ на ада.' Това е само въведение в ефирния свят създаден от Arvelss. 'Някога слънцето и мракът създали бурите, а луната и звездите предизвикали приливите, чрез които водите сякаш дишали... Самият Arvelss определя жанра на Shambless като 'чувствителна и некомерсиална музика, изпълнена с безкрайна хармония и страст. Музика, която разкрива неописуеми с човешки думи картини, която те отвежда в невиждани дълбини и непознати светове. Основната му цел се изразява в това да 'провокира мислите на слушателя да го отведе в непознати земи.'...

Biography:
Sabhankra was formed in 2001 as Savaş Sungur's personal project under the name "Constantinopolis". The project soon became widely known for its epic musical work, and its combination of folk, power and death metal styles. The project released its first demo "The Sudden Death" in 2002, followed by a 70-minutes self titled album "For The Empire" in 2003 and acquired underground vogue.

The project became a band and appeared onstage starting in 2004. Following its second stage performance, the band took the name of "Sabhankra" and performed on various venues throughout Turkey. Sabhankra released "Powercraft" in 2006, blending folk melodies of different cultures, and won local and international recognition. In 2006, the band released a concert DVD of its album premier; the concert consisted of the bands Sabhankra, Necrophagist, Orphaned Land and Samael. Between 2006-2008, the band was occupied with performances and album recordings. By the end of 2008, Sabhankra released a promo album "To Die For A Lie", produced by Barbaros Ali Kaynak, which also indicated to the upcoming album "Revenge". "Revenge" has been recorded, mixed and mastered by Barbaros Ali Kaynak and was ready to be released. But when it's release cancelled Sabhankra released a new ep, "Our Kingdom Shall Rise" by the end of 2009. The band still continues performing epic music at its best...
