Завожу в проигрывателе "Seasons In The Abyss", наливаю стакан, комок в горле подкатывает.
2 мая мы потеряли одну из самых значимых фигур металической классики и самого лучшего гитарерро в трэше. Он рано ушёл и многое ещё не успел сказать нам, но память о нём всегда будет жить в наших сердцах. Предлагаю встать и почтить память этого великого человека минутой молчания на портале.

Нифига подобного! Первые два альбома рулят и педалят.
"Locust" - отстойная сопливая модерн-пиликалка.

Масло масляное. достаточно оставить NWOBHM - этого вполне хватит для отражения стиля.

Наикрутейшая вещь.
жаль только:
1) качество записи оставляет желает лучшего
2) композиции не вошли впоследствии в полноформаты/ипихи

Альбом внимательно слушал? Это дэт(трэш)-метал, а не панк-рок - риффы тут... и гораздо больше чем 2-3.

И сабжевый альбом - однозначно один из них.

... такой трэш-дэт уже давно "снят с производства"... а жаль. :(
Альбом - один из эталонов классической флоридской школы. Что называется с первого прослушивания "выстрелил".
Особенно отмечу: благодаря этому альбому, всерьёз когда-то увлекся гитарой - дабы научиться рубить дэт! :roll:

Что тут сказать... Да наверно ничего кроме "Даёшь по компиляшке кого-нибудь каждый день!"

Нет, ну правда, несколько глупо и недальновидно , плодить стада сборников "Best of", которые состоят из одних и тех же вещей. По крайней мере со времён выхода EP-шки "World Painted Blood / Atrocity Vendor", я встречаю в интернетах уже четвёртый сборник Slayer.

Замануха в предверие грядущего альбома?
Как-то не похоже на Слесаря...

Сборка неплохая, но... я бы лучше свеженького чего послушал. Да в принципе смысл создавать подобную гигантскую сборку сплошь состоящую из уже давно вышедших вещей - хотя одну новую/неизданную включить - тогда хотя бы интерес какой-то будет качать весь остальной композиционный балласт.

Агы. Ну то есть тебя не смущает тот факт, что если заменить модераторов тупым программным скриптом, форум менее чем за неделю из оранжереи превратиться в выгребную яму? Лайки - не показатель качества и соответствия стандартам.

Самое лучшее (почти гениальное в рамках блэк-дэта) творение Нёдтвейдта сотоварищи.
Замечательные акустические вкрапления, особенно в "Soulreaper".

И главное: при не очень большом наборе приёмов, довольно стандартном инструментарии и вкупе не особо навороченном риффинге, всё звучит очень насыщено, грамотно и атмосферно.
5/5 - самый котируемый.

Не знаю кто там кому чё повышает - правда не слежу. А вот что ясно вижу и чему искренне рад - более-менее устойчивому порядку на MA. Мнений среди металарийцев конечно немало (и все в кой-то степени объективны), но без слаженной и чёткой работы модераторского-кураторского состава, форуме уже давно был бы гигантской флуд-релиз-помойкой.

И вообще, в случае обсуждаемых здесь товарищей, разного рода "фокусы" с репутацией, замеченные (явно от желания "капнуть по-глубже") Gestell'ем, в сущности ни коим образом не влияют на исполнение модераторами-кураторами своих основных прямых обязанностей.

Отличное наглядное пособие для желающих узнать, откуда у современного SMDM местами ноги растут.

з.ы. бас в инструментарии отсутствует напрочь.

Один из образчиков classic floridian oldschool-дэта, со всеми атрибутами того времени: рафинированным звуком гитар, перегруженным басом, гулкими приглушёнными ударными и диким экспрессивным риффингом.
До сих пор очень котируемая мной группа.

Был бы он хотя бы в духе "Arrival"- уже что-то...

Скорее всего причина банальна - Метловцы если делали кавера, то обычно на композиции тех коллективов, которыми вдохновлялись ещё пацанами и играли на своих ранних концертах.
