Фэн Бокс с еще одним студийным треком и тремя никому ненужными демо стоит аж 49.95 Фунтов = 2440 рублей. Hmm, thoroughly underwhelmed with the new album. This is some of the most bland, unmemorable stuff I've ever heard from these guys. "Lilith Immaculate" is probably the best track by far. I liked the greater use of keyboards this time around, and the female vocals sound great, if underused. But wow, I wish I could think of a better adjective, but Paul Allender's riffs are just...boring. Even "Godspeed" at least had a handful of standout tracks. Here, there is only maybe 2, 3 at best out of a whopping 15 songs. It's a shame really; such a well thought out concept and great lyrics goes waste to such bland, uninteresting music. Oh well, I guess I'll go cleanse my ears with some "Vempire/Dusk/Cruelty".

And Dani isn't really at fault here. He is the only one left standing in the band since the glorious "Vempire/Dusk/Cruelty" era. Stuart Antsis and his beautiful, melodic, and MEMORABLE guitar playing played on all 3 of those albums, has long since fallen off the face of the earth. Gian Pyres was also quite good, he stayed around on "Midian" too; even the guitars on that album are just so much better than this new stuff. But yeah, sadly Paul Allender, who writes about 90% of the band's music nowadays, seems like he's completely out of ideas for good guitar riffs. Hmm, I guess I shall stop ranting now haha, just dissappointed, that's all!

That's how it's named on the album itself, it's something that's been troubling me too. Both on the back and inside the booklet in the lyrics it's written "Church" and not "Retreat" (same thing on the first press LP), though the tracklist at their website says the latter. Here's what I mean:

So that's not cleared up, but the song is the same. Don't know if it's right to re-tag it when it's written that way on the tracklist of the record, and it's the same with a friend from Germany who got the edition of Nuclear Blast as I did, along with one other guy from the USA who ordered the Peaceville import. However, on the demo CD which got here some weeks earlier it was written "Retreat", so I guess that's something that needs a further explanation from the band itself.

As for the second question, you won't find "Adest Rosa Secreta Eros" and the demos on this version. Mine is the digibook and you refer to the fanbox edition which was already mentioned here:
