Martin Lopez, ex-drummer of Amon Amarth and Opeth, was so kind to inform us he's been working on a new project, entitled Soen. Lopez will be handling the drums duties, and he has formed the band together with bassist Steve DiGiorgio (ex-Death, ex-Testament, ex-Iced Earth, and a shitload of other bands), Kim Platbarzdis on guitar and vocalist Joel Ekelцf.
Lopez described the music as "melodic, heavy, intricated, and very different than everything else." He added: "We are currently writing material, and as soon as we have more news you'll be informed."
