Пожалуй, материал, записанный на этой демке - самое интересное (для меня) из всего творчества The Birthday Massacre. Печальные цепляющие мелодии, электроные ритмы, неплохие инструментовки, интересный вокал. Рискнул бы просто назвать современной готикой - ясно, что никаких аналогий с The Cure, Fields of the Nephilim и Sisters of Mercy в плане звучания нет. Единственное, что их роднит - минорное настроение. Ну и говорить об Industrial из-за одних электронных ударных нет смысла.
Больше всего понравилась Remember Me (но уже в Under the Stairs проявляется будущая одержимость синти-попом). |
