"We are Bayn, a forward-thinking metal band from Derby, UK. We consider our music to be metal, but a blend of metal that incorporates many diverse influences from across the metal spectrum. The two founding members, Mark Bainbridge and Warren Baines, began writing for the band in late 2006. For years the band remained a duo, until January 2010 when it was “born” as a full band including a vocalist, bassist and drummer.

Not content to sit back and relax, we’ve been hard at work constantly trying to improve our sound and to be successful. To date we’ve played over 30 shows, including a successful week-long UK tour in August 2011. We also released our debut EP, titled “The Apophis”, in October 2010 in both CD and digital formats."
