Recorded in a home studio between August and October 2014. Tierra Maldita is a diffusion demo contains seven own songs that talk "about what it means to live in Tierra del Fuego, so far from everything, sometimes so cold and desolate" in words of the band.

Nothofagus is the scientific name of indigenous trees on the island and part of Patagonia, beech, cherry and ñire.
