Genre(s): Black Metal Lyrical Theme(s): Blasphemy Origin: United States of America (Winter Springs, Florida) Formed In: 1991 Status: Changed Name Last known line-up: Impurath - Bass, Vocals (1991 -1996) (Witchery, Black Witchery) Darkwolf - Drums, Guitar (1991 -1996) (Witchery) Additional notes: As Irreverent they were young and started to play Hellhammer and Bathory covers, but eventually the three grew bored and quit. Then, (Witchery) was formed as a two piece with Darkwolf on drums and guitar, then shortly after left the band due to his massive disgust of today''s scene, so Impurath brought in Tregenda and Vaz and changed the name to Black Witchery, because of two other bands with the same Witchery name. Irreverent appear on the compilation "The Wine of Satan: Volume II" released by Necroterror Records with the song "Infernal Entity", this track was originally going to appear on "The Wine of Satan" released by Spellbound Records back in 1993 but for some reason or another it didn't.
