Дерсу, а чего ты каждый день кушаешь одно и то же? На-ка, получи-ка деликатес! Спасибо, Martyr! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile1.gif) Такие альбомы, действительно, попадаются далеко не каждый день. Техничные, мелодичные, тяжёлые, вкусные... ну, и самое главное, с цепляющим стафом! И хотя, если честно, первый полноформатник канадцев Hopeless Hopes (1997) понравился мне больше, но и этот тоже очень хорош. Техники, пожалуй, стало больше. Правда, скорости, вроде бы, поменьше - здесь упор сделан на умные техно-дэт-ходы. Множество великолепных соляков. Имеются уходы в ярковыраженные прогрессив-дэтовые формы (например, Speechless). Порадовала заключительная 6-минутная Realms of Reverie, содержащая кусочки предыдущих треков. Но мои фавориты здесь - это The Fortune-Teller и Retry? Abort? Ignore? Советую прослушать альбом несколько раз, ибо с первого раза он может не раскрыться для слушателя. 9/10

Действительно, альбом воспринимается на порядок сложнее, чем дебютник "Hopeless Hopes". Возможно, из-за слабой доходчивости материала группа и не стала широко известна (а широко известна она только среди любителей жанра, в метал-сообществе, как таковом, её почти никто не знает). Данный альбом рекомендуется тем, кто устал изучать пориффово поздние альбомы Death. Наиболее сильными вещами показались "Endless Vortex Towards Erasing Destiny", "Deserted Waters" (рифф с 03:27 в особенности), "Speachless", "Realms of Reverie" и более всего "Carpe Diem". Слушая композицию "Retry? Abort? Ignore?" сложилось впечатление, что если бы вещь не вошла в "Warp Zone", то вошла бы в "Equivoke" Hieronymus Bosch.
