Accelerated Evolution and Synchetra were released as The Devin Townsend Band and featured a steady a line-up that also joined Devin on tour. The idea was to draw a firmer line between his solo material and Strapping Young Lad. When TDTB was active, Devin released two ambient albums under his own name. In May of 2007, at a press conference for Ziltoid the Omniscient, Devin announced that he had decided to put an end to The Devin Townsend Band and SYL, and not to tour again in the future. A few years later he later formed own project, which runs concurrent to this one, and returned to the live environment. geohors, я точно не поддерживаю такие мнения. Addicted самый хитовый, несомненно, но та же Terria глубже, навороченней, интереснее.

geohors, нет, конечно. Во-первых, Addicted выходил под маркой Devin Townsend Project, а не Devin Townsend. А, во-вторых, если охватывть все творчество, то City, Alien, The New Black (SYL), Physicist и Terria (а вот эти как раз из сегмента Devin Townsend), ну и Synchestra с Accelerated Evolution от The Devin Townsend Band гораздо круче.

Не вижу противоречия, тут я скорее хотел сказать, что после Addicted, прорывов не было, как это случалось с сабжем прежде. Terria зачетен, вне сомнений!
