сабж многие сравнивают с Blut aus Nord. мне лично эта штука гораздо больше нравится (BAN как-то не очень)

для депрессива все-таки совсем не гнетущий музон, но холодности и отчужденности хватает. особенно за счет клавишных. хотя есть и эпичные кусочки (скажем, в 3м треке)

И правильно делают, ибо это и есть тот самый Blut aus Nord времён "Ultima Thulée", гитарный саунд почти такой же, как мне показалось, да и клавишные трэки тоже, но до того же Blut aus Nord не дотягивает вокальной работой.
Атмосферно? Да, разумеется.
Имеет отношение к т.н. "венорезам" или к чему подобному? Ни в коем случае.

ну, мне как раз вокал в BAN не нравится. особенно то, как он выделяется над музыкой. правда, я слушал лишь позднее.
посему попробую и старенькое тоже, ибо сабж мне тащем-то понравился (правда, не сразу). 7,5/10


ЗЫ: хотя вру. все я слушал. первые 2 альбома показались неплохими (по сравнению с последующими).
последний как раз вокалом в т.ч. не понравился. (хотя сам альбом много лучше того....кхе-кхе..., что в середке)
переслушаю первые 2 тадысь.
