The first version only had the four tracks shown here, which included a live version of "Evil Dead" taken from their first live demo. Shortly after its release, Mantas stopped selling the demo, and it was replaced by the five-track version of Death by Metal, which is commonly known to be the official version of Death by Metal. The tracklist is as follows:

02. Mantas
03. Power of Darkness
04. Evil Dead
05. Death by Metal

Vocals on Power of Darkness are performed by Chuck.
