Experimental album in the right way!
lets start from the ashes of Folkfuck Folie(a masterpiece which is and remain highlander in black metal genre) that are present in the entire album, this is the first best thing and the reason for buying soon. NARGAROTH need a leson "how to use beats from electronic music in black metal". "Cochon Carotte..." is the song which Kanwulf needs to listen carefully. Folk instuments are using in experimental way too, first part of "...Nord 1" sounds like chinese folklore(+3:00), afterthat, a breath of fresh air from Audrey Sylvain, great surprise! Best thing of album are these different riffs which are changed in almost every maximum 2 minutes, an anti-repeat militant album. Clear vocals passages reminds me the old Happy Days, and prologs of Nargaroth, these kind its not very used in black metal.Pauses between riffs are welcomed. If you leave the entire album in ure fucking playlist and after you read a forum or something, this masterpiece is able to catch ure attention every moment, every minute, this containts kinds from every sub-genre of black metal, and some atmospheric passages which are composed with bass i think. everything without direktion. if you dislike a song, definetly you like another, an album for every member of this league of darkness called BLACK METAL. conclusion: a maturation and happily, ashes of Folkfuck are very present, not as chaotic and sickness like old but now is funny and focused on riffs. I miss that unique psycho-frenchkish vocals of Neige. 9/10 |

vrede, its hard for an artist to do something that was not done before. ALCEST doing a lot of new eargasmic things. i can listen a raw black metal followed by alcest, whats the problem?
if you like the new album of Nargaroth its your problem..but with <10 years of experience, i think the new shit is just scumbag. hes good in black metal, i don't blame him(kanwulf), but stay on black metal if you are not experienced in dark ambient, or try to make music with ure key(in black metal :|) in ure home but never release the shit UNDER THE NARGAROTH NAME. that burzum riffs was already owned by.........burzum, i really dont feel to listen an album fully of covers with another name of songs, and electronic beats beated bad (IMG:style_emoticons/default/crazy.gif) , and where the black metal is missing or is present 3 minutes in the entire album and its slowly. Neige is one of the best vocalists of black metal, i see them live, he change his voice like a lamplighter. |

You obviously don't have a clue about the background of the album... just read the inlay of the vinyl (don't know whether it's also in the digipack). It is not intended to be Dark Ambient. It is no Burzum-cover. Moreover, you can blame like every second band of sounding either like Burzum or Darkthrone. One damned song on an album doesn't make Nargaroth a Burzum-ripoff. Black Metal DOES NOT have to be fast. Go listen to Marduk. Alcest is almost NO Black Metal anymore (IMG:style_emoticons/default/normal_Homerdisgust3.png) , especially nowadays....no idea where your "experience" is, but you seem to have listened to Shoegaze before BM. And who hasn't seen Neige yet.... he's playing at like every venue you can even remotely think of. @shial: Whatever you wanted to point out. |

Black metal is a malleable genre. Alcest is now shoegaze/black metal and its good. go listen last album and you find a lot black metal elements especially vocals randomly, also some raw parts. |

Не то, чтобы я не люблю упадничество и чернуху - но, более, в виде визуального ряда мне это близко - фильмы там разные, придурки, алкоголики и наркоманы - это всё доставляет временами, но, чтоб слушать и проникаться - это уж нет, увольте.
