более 10 лет мне этот альбом не нравился, не понимал я его... но со временем вкусы меняются..
на фоне современного многообразия, а зачастую безобразия (я не имею ввиду творчество Therion, а вообще (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile1.gif) ) эта работа заслуживает твердых 9/10

Ну, если сравнивать этот альбом, и то, что появилось "на свет" после 2000-го - то этот релиз изумительно хорош.
А вот в сравнении с работами до 2000-го, мне он кажется слабее.

Хотя, может это и предвзятое мнение.
Он мне как-то с самого начала не особенно понравился, так и до сих пор...

Сколько людей столько мнений). После Theli Therion перестал быть для меня интересным, несмотря нато, что Theli это мой любимый их альбом. Первые два альбомчика добротный олдскульный замес death metal и чего-то hard rockового, а сие переходное (не путать с проходным) творение.
Symphony Masses мне почему то нравиться кусками, не попесенно, а именно отдельными кусками в песнях. Очень разнообразный альбом , так сказать перекресток, стоя на котором Therion выбрали ту дорогу, по которой пойдут дальше. К чему они пришли нам доподлинно известно, но переслушивая Symphony Masses приходишь к мысли, а что бы было если бы не в симфонику ударились товарищи шведы, а в... Короче, альбом крутой, слушать всем, но поймут его по разному в любом случае. Мне вгде-то в середине трэка A Black Rose вообще услышались интонации GUT (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile1.gif) .
Поставить оценку очего-то немогу.
