Слушать начинал с очень [мат->бан]м настроением, но достаточно быстро музыка приковала всё моё внимание к себе...

ORIGIN уже столько лет на плаву и не изменяют себе. ORIGIN - это скорость. Скорость - это ORIGIN. Они всё так же круты, интересны и уверены в себе.

Этот альбом меня приятно удивил. Играют всё так же быстро, но вот песни не пролетают пулей, наоборот, они умудряются показать себя со всех сторон, а показать есть что. Песни насыщены - это не Мозговая Дрель, здесь много интересных ходов и фишек, музыканты владеют своими конечностями (да ладно?!) и имеют головы, чтобы придумывать что-то новое и интересное, среди всех этих вихрей и круговоротов таится вполне себе очевидный музыкальный рисунок, волей-неволей начинаешь вслушиваться и вникать. Всё идёт хорошо и плавно, как вдруг, херак - Invariance Under Transformation - скорость падает, зато прибавляется массивности и наступательности, прям как у корифеев классического дэта. Неожиданно. А потом ещё A Burden of Prescience со слэмовым окончанием, ну а Unequivocal вообще вернула меня во времена непревзойдённого Antithesis. И это только после пары прослушек, дальше будет лучше.

Для меня это эпик-вин, возможно в этом году с ними смогут потягаться Decrepit Birth и Gigan, но это в будущем, а вот ORIGIN уже здесь и сейчас.

Не буду кидать предъявы насчет транскода, но звук действительно подозрительный. Глухой и задавленный. Если включить для сравнения, скажем, Brain Drill 2008-го - разница ощутима. Может, так и задумано.

Ориджин никогда не воршипил, но этот альбом в отличии от прошлого (или двух) заходит Отлично.
