Every single note, every riff, every drum hit, every change in vocals is just sublime here, just fucking way too good for you who can't discerne this music (IMG:style_emoticons/default/alkash.gif)

Repeating what an idiot said further above is not making it relevant. |

biroutios, And who decides what is compatible and what is not? Is there some general rule fixed at the level of reality or am I missing something?
Repeating what an idiot said further above is not making it relevant. And I’ll ask again: who decided? In my opinion, the voice of each user here is equal. But instead of argumentation, you appeal to the individual. Which puts us in a not-so-convenient position. |

Yeah, sure GDOW influences... While TT hates post-DMDS Mayhem more than anything else. You are funny (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile1.gif)
If you are so interested in what influenced Abigor you can read their interviews. They decided to reunite in 2007 because TT heard new potential for BM from "SolarKult" by Blacklodge. Just to drop one name. There were obviously other bands (I think Deathspell Omega and Blut Aus Nord were among them). Also the guy is a Laibach fan, and you can obviously hear some influences in composition. I believe he digs Skinny Puppy too (hence chaotic sound) but this I am not sure of. I think TT never even heard Rebel Extravanza or GDOW considering his undying hate towards trendy and mass-market BM. |

Yeah, sure GDOW influences... While TT hates post-DMDS Mayhem more than anything else. You are funny I hate a lot of stuff in my life. But this stuff influenced my life. And nothing can be done about it. At least stupid comments on forums and social networks (not about our conversation) If you are so interested in what influenced Abigor you can read their interviews I read it. It’s a funny fact, of course, what inspired those groups. And what inspired these or those. Otherwise we will end up with the same thing. WLA-era Mayhem and Ven Buens Ende inspired (direct or inderect) a lot of dissonant black metal / dissonant death metal bands all over the world. Including Deathspell Omega (and yes, immediately predicting the reaction about influences for 2004-2010 stuff, I read Bardo Methodology interview) GDOW considering his undying hate towards trendy and mass-market BM. GDOW mass-market BM. Funniest thing I've read in a very long time. |

It's not mine but TT opinion on Mayhem. I like GDOW, but I don't know in what universe it's similar to any Abigor record. Not in this for sure. |

It's not mine but TT opinion on Mayhem. I have zero complaints to you. It's funny and sad to see how Thomas takes it all. But, in my eyes and in my perception, I have already explained how it is. It is impossible to answer this question on 100% in any case. I like GDOW, but I don't know in what universe it's similar to any Abigor record. Not in this for sure. If I have free time, I will definitely sit down and listen GDoW again and try to show here specific similar fragments. Until that time, if it ever happens, we’ll just shake hands and stick to our opinions. |

There were lots of dissonant BM releases with industrial touches before and after GDOW. Abigor were inspired by "666 International" according to an interview with PK after the release of Satanized, for example.

Apparently you don't know how to listen, but this is what they teach in schools (music school)
It's not enough to turn something on and hear it,it has to be learned how just as it is not enough to read, you also need to understand text that you are reading but apparently this art is only taught to "idiots" "intelligence" cannot master it (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile3.gif) well... You listen to music without understanding what do you hear and you want to review it like typical festival and discos regulars at the Philharmonic - what do you think about Bach's music? - this is shit, because I can't dance to it :D Absolutely nothing similar. Similar means more or less the same. Which idiot could say this... Will you issue me a pass or some other document, authorizing me to say what I hear? Should I contact some institution? World Music Organization etc there are any legal provisions? |

Lol who do you think compose most of the mterial? Actually, not so sure about this (IMG:style_emoticons/default/crazy.gif) If you'll listen to "Satanized" which was composed and recorded without TT, you'll find a lot of typical post-2000 Abigor riffs and harmonies there (minus the DsO influence). |

Walpurgis, But «Wolf Lair Abyss» came out before «666 International», If we still talk about dissonant black metal. And see up here, I talk about VBE of course.
By the way, all I can say right now — already here. After some "home work" all listeners can return here and exchange arguments again. |

Whatever the opinions on this Abigor album, there is not any similarity between this and Rebel Extravaganza and GDOW. I cannot agree more on this. Not even speaking about Dødheimsgard... |
