Suicide Season is the second full-length studio album by UK band Bring Me the Horizon, set to be released on September 29, 2008 through Visible Noise. The band is also signed with Epitaph Records (USA) on 11 September 2008, with the label releasing the album on 18 November 2008. Suicide Season is the follow-up to the band's debut album, Count Your Blessings.

The album has been described by vocalist Oli Sykes as being "more rock than metal. It's heavy though, and sounds a lot more fatter and beefier. We've also done some mellower tracks too." Oli also states that this album will see the band "moving away from the sound" of their first album; the main reason for this being that "So many bands are doing this genre [deathcore] nowadays and like a lot of people say, this genre is on its last legs."

In an interview with Metal Hammer magazine, Oli states that this album is "100% different" from Count Your Blessings. He also says "We experimented a lot more I think, more with other styles of music we all enjoy, using different instruments and technology, by bringing a lot of digital stuff to the table. Every track is different."

Epic fail. Мда, я, конечно, альбом не особо ждал, не особо на что-то надеялся, но предыдущий мне нравится, и хотелось, как минимум, такого же. Ога, щас. Раньше, я всегда защищал группу, от нападок особо умных товарищей, которые кричали "бринги - м#удаки, геи и позеры". Бринги - м#удаки, геи и позеры скажу я теперь. Альбом просто феерично убог. Первая, где-то, половина альбома вообще неслушатебельна никак. Под конец, они вроде выдают что-то неплохое, но, блин, когда лучшая вещь на альбоме это 59ти секундный трек, это вообще как? Я не понимаю, как они (он?) умудрились записать такое. Первый альбом был отличным - модненький, молодежный и современный деткор, все нормально. Тут - вялое нечто, которое можно назвать как угодно, только не деткор. Решили поиграть с электроникой? Замечательно, только делайте это с умом. Обилие брейков? Нормально, только делайте нормальные, млять, брейки, а не это, пардон, гавно. Почему Fear The Skyline рвет и мечет, а Suicide Season вызывает зевоту? Да, вокал Олли всё еще интересный и хороший, особенно если Вы всегда мечтали услышать, как скримит Багз Банни, но на одном вокале альбом не построишь. Тут попросту нет музыки. Имеется набор риффов и вокальных партий, собранных, видимо, в случайном порядке. Как такое вообще выпускать можно? Новый альбом не выдерживает никакого сравнения с предыдущим, а уж с другими группами и подавно. Послушайте до или после, The Eyes Of Traitor и Allatus Adeo, почувствуйте разницу между шедеврами и шлаком. Боже, даже главные "позеры" отечественный -кор сцены Autoscan и то звучат намного круче. В общем, худший альбом года (причем именно ужасный альбом, а не "я ожидал другого - они меня разочаровали"), если это, конечно, можно назвать альбомом. Фак ю, Олли!

Совпадение ли? Horizon 8 и Bring Me The Horizon - разочаровали. Горизонт проклят?

Хм.. ну паслушал... ну да с электроникой поэкспериментировали.
По поводу хаотичности и набора звуков.. да, есть такое, но на меня и прошлый альбом произвёл впечатление чего-то хаотичного, разрозненного)
Так что в плане собранности я разницы как таковой не услышал...
Больше всего понравилась песня The Sadness Will Never End.
А вот вокал ну..., как выразился fist, "скримящий Багз Банни" всё ещё скримит.. но всё же как-то не так как на первой пластинке... не так ярко уже звучит, а как-то более "стандартно" может морковки съел не правильной.
В общем для себя оценил альбом где-то на 3 из 5.

squirol, и зря - предыдущий альбом был говняст до неприличия, ибо скучен и туп как. Я тоже качал с нехотью эту работу - она оказалась омне стало даже не посебена! 10 баллов из 10, хотя Count your blessings я бы дал где-то 2\10
