Хороший материал, особенно Step by Step радует. Ну, если сравнивать с более признанными произведениями тех лет, то может тут не хватает некой целостности материала. Перепады, пусть и не слишком явные, но всё же чувствуются.
Дальнейшее творчество более гармонично "слеплено".

Значительно отличается от прошлого - стало больше в первую очередь спокойствия. Музыка отошла от канонического инспирированного отцами трэша в сторону меланхолии и депрессии некоей, умиротворенности. Замечательный релиз. Для башкотрясных хэдбангеров не совсем то, может быть, но любителям чего позамудрёней - в самый раз.

"Значительно" - это если бы они после трэша первого альбома заиграли синти-поп или там рэп какой... И если Infinite, One Foot In Hell или Step by step называть меланхолией и депрессией... ты точно прослушал этот альбом или перевод чужой рецензии прочитал?

Считаю, что Twisted Into Form - показатель собственного прогресса, взросления группы. Это касается и вокальных экзерсисов (желание сравнивать вокалиста с певцами период NWOBHM пропало), и это отлично заметно в Twisted Into Form, R.I.P.; и гитарной части (особенно - в свете ухода Флинна) - вступление Parting Of The Ways, инструменталка Spiral Depression, партии в Infinite, Step By Step, R.I.P. исполнены с блеском. Даже по ритмодолбежке вопросов нет, а ориентировка на не самый быстр вариант трэша с лихвой окупается отличной мелодикой. Тем не менее, в момент выхода альбома уже было ясо, что ничего нового в нем не будет. А сейчас - лишь очередная причина повздыхать о золотых восьмидесятых...
Ну и, если что, то фавориты - R.I.P., Step By Step, Infinite.
