I haven't. I didn't like it so much. But I can post previous "Choronzon" album in 320 if you want. I have it and "The Goat of Mendes" on CD, so 320 is not maximum quality (IMG:http://metalarea.org/forum/style_emoticons/default/smile1.gif)

кстати заметил у вокалиста акеркок удивительное сходство с вокалом варга викернеса. особенно на гоат оф мендес

рецензия диссидент год- на отлично!
сходные чувства и про серьезность и навороченность но говорить что этот альбом- лучший - вряд ли. я периодически слушаю 2003 и 2005 года и 2007. но чаще всего 2005

Злой, атмосферный альбом. Особенно впечатлили композиции с чистым вокалом - уж очень он красив в этом альбоме, обладает своей тонкой мелодикой, которая хорошо сливается с общим брутальным настроем. Самой удачной вещью считаю "Braking Silence". Она, и "A Skin for Dancing in" - две вещи с наибольшей концентрацией удачных моментов и идейных вкраплений. Кроме эти двух композиций мой лично интерес вызвали вещи 7 (виолончель хороша), 9, 12. Столь частое упоминание в текстах Карлоса Сантаны не совсем понятно.

Это не просто тяжелый альбом, это произведение искусства от первой до последней ноты. Группа по настоящему раскрылась здесь и технически с точки зрения владения инструментами, и как композиторы, и как по настоящему экстремальная музыкальная единица. Аналогов у такой музыки нет, в лучшем случае заложенные на Rape of the Bastard Nazarene и The Goat of Mendes идеи развивали сами музыканты в рамках Akercocke и других своих же проектах... В год выхода это было настоящим открытием и новым словом.

На деле слушатель погружается в сложное, многогранное, креативное музыкальное полотно, вдохновленное эстетикой дьяволопоклонничества и неистовой порки. Дичайшая смесь Black и Death Metal, нечеловеческие вокальные диапазоны, диссонансы, вкрапления электроники и классических инструментов для создания невиданного доселе музыкального шедевра.

Мое знакомство с творчеством группы началось году наверное в 2004-м с записанных на болванку мп3 The Goat of Mendes и Choronzon. Так будучи первокурсником я испытал тотальный шок от услышанного, хотя к тому времени black/death меня уже ничем не удивляли и не поражали. Так же были и клипы на Horns of Baphomet и Infernal Rites. До сих пор эти два релиза приятно раскрываются для меня в новом цвете. Слушаю не часто, но это и не музыка на каждый день. Для меня это музыка особенного утонченного настроения и особого стечения обстоятельств.

Темный ли этот альбом? - Несомненно и абсолютно! Да, это действительно темное искусство. Но это его интеллектуальная грань, связанная с созидательным началом и раскрытием своих возможностей, своего потенциала. Я чувствую вдохновение этого альбома, он был экстремален в год своего выхода, он совершенно экстремален, спустя более 15 лет с даты выхода, и будет опасным еще долгие десятилетия. Это произведение переживет своих создателей.

Более точно описать мои впечатления о группе и альбоме в частности, я бы не смог! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/pray.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/metaler.gif) Отменный релиз! Дьявольская энергетика так и сочится. А чего стоит хотя бы второй трэк. Дальше уже пошло чуть сглаженней, но не менее круто. Одна из самых-самых любимых групп в музыке. С огромным нетерпением жду выхода нового альбома, каким бы они его ни задумали. Это будет одним из альбомов года заочно, не иначе. Подвести сии чародеи не могут!
