Оказывается, я не слышал ранее этот альбом...
После хулиганских экспериментов начала 90-х ребята вроде бы и вернулись в старый добрый трэш, но былая искорка пропала. Работа получилась какой-то рутинной и вымученной во многом благодаря вокалу Джона Буша.

[Emm Human]

Логически верный альбом: музыка многих нью-йоркских трэшеров, изначально брала начало в хардкоре и панке. И Anthrax не был исключением. И вот к временам "Стомпа" доля хардкора превысила долю метала - мода, куда от неё денешься (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile1.gif) . Но работа вобщем-то неплохая, хоть строй гитар и опустили в сопли и Буш не поёт, а орёт в прямом смысле, крепкий костяк классического трэша, по-прежнему очень ощутим.

Приятно узнать, что на альбоме засветился Даррелл Эббот - уже ни первый год слушаю этот альбом и никогда бы не подумал, что они исполнил здесь лидер-партии в горячо любимой мной "King Size" и "Riding Shotgun". (IMG:style_emoticons/default/spitggis0.gif)

Кстати за телеги "King Size" и American Pompeii, без зазрения совести, оцениваю всё это хоть и на слабенькую, но 5. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/metaler.gif)

В последний раз слушал сабж примерно в 96-м, и даже тогда, на фоне относительного дефицита новой музыки альбом не произвел впечатления. Спустя очень долгое время решил переслушать - по этому случаю специально скачал его с торрентов. Мнение не изменилось - кроме первых 2 песен (и, возможно, Nothing) здесь слушать нечего. Такое впечатление, что после блестящего SoWN группа просто выдохлась.
