Сепу большинство обитающих здесь котируют либо середины 80-х, либо пограничье с 90-ми, либо начало 90-х, либо максимум по Рутс включительно. Остальной материал люди конечно некоторые любят, но их меньшинство. Да и действительно, не та эта группа уже, чтобы бросаться и слушать, оголив зад.

Мне именно вот эта Сепа без Макса нравится наамного больше (Arise, ...Remains - конечно культ).

Дико трясся под них в юности - эрайз вообще был чем-то заоблочно быстрым и злобным, после рутс как-то вообще за ними следить перестал.

Сие качал с настороженностью, чемно говоря ожидал хуже - нормальный быстрый злобный музончик, не уникальный, но и неплохой))

По итогам отслушивания:
Недурный получился релиз. Очень разноплановый - есть молоботойные боевики, мид-темповые треки-качалки и чуть-ли не думовые телеги. Собственно по полёту композиторской мысли, ничем не уступает "Дикарям"... сами знаете кого (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile3.gif)

Причём нельзя не отметить и некую атмосферность - благодаря таким вещам, как The Vatican и Tsunami, материал порой выходит далеко не прямолинейным, с запросом на наполняемость глубоким смыслом, что для Сепультуры в целом почти всегда было абсолютно не свойственно.
Ещё, что подкупило: ню-метально-альтернативных соплей совсем практически нет - почти везде резкий ершистый такой грув с дэтовой основой. В этом плане альбом наверно один из самых тяжелых в дискографии "нового" состава.

Минусом конечно идёт звучание, а точнее подача. Во всех вещах поголовно, как-то только Киссер и Ко. решают убыстрится, весь музыкальный инструментарий переходит в заколоченную ударными тремоло-жужжалку с неотличимыми друг от друга нотами. Да и вокал, загнанный куда-то на самые задворки, создаёт впечатление репетиционной демо-записи, чем студийного альбома.

Как всегда: неплохое начало, заваленная подчистую середина, представляющая из себя атмосферное болото (Киссеру нужно запретить писать медленные треки, он это не умеет делать), и неудачная попытка реабилитироваться ближе к концу. Плюс к этому отвратный звук и как всегда отвратный вокал Грина. А вот "Grief" приятно удивила, да и попытки барабанщика в нескольких местах попробовать бластбит.

Да, вот пожалуй в этом аспекте, это самый фэйловый альбом Сепулятора. При таком мощном качевом звучании такое аховое качество звука. Не знаю кому руки отрывать - самой группе или звукачам, но записать всё можно было на гораздо более высоком уровне.
