Информацией об этой потрясающей команде я практически не располагаю. Да - Сицилия, да - два альбома, да - Валерио Капсони и Маурицио Кальтанисетта. И на этом все. Удивительно, но даже метал-архивы предельно скупы на информацию: ни времени образования команды, ни данных о том, действует ли эта группа сейчас. Прямо-таки тайна тайн какая-то...
Между тем альбом "The Age Of Purity" в свое время произвел на меня колоссальное впечатление. И это при том, что впервые услышал я его у друга на заезженной в хвост и в гриву кассетке. Музыка немного напоминает старую Anathema, однако ни о каком копировании стиля речи даже не идет - просто веет чем-то таким же знакомым и близким по духу и настроению. Да и вообще, кто знает, что было бы, выпусти SERENADES свой дебютный альбом года на три пораньше и прояви большую активность в музыкальной деятельности - может, мы бы говорили об этой группе как об одном из апологетов doom-metal'a наряду с такими монстрами сцены как Ahathema, My Dying Bride и Paradise Lost. Но история не терпит сослагательного наклонения. И все вышло так, как вышло. А жаль.

P.S. Данный архив - CD RIP. Приношу свои извинения за отсутствие сканов - все никак не соберусь вывести сканер из коматозного состояния.

P.P.S. Если кто-нибудь располагает вторым релизом этих итальянцев - "Ionia" (2000), буду безмерно благодарен, если поделитесь.

Ну ведь есть же оффициальный сайт, там даже про какой-то альбом "Father" сказано и есть обложка этого альбома (The Age Of Purity) в большом размере...

Хммм... Адреса официального сайта я не знаю. А альбом заливал, уже одной ногой убежав на работу, так что копаться в интернете, выискивая обложку хорошего качества было просто некогда. Прошу пардону.
