Второй полноформат команды получился самым лиричным из пока прослушанных трех последних альбомов. Это не просто монотонный давящий грузный электрический фунерале, команда активно использует наигрыши мелодичные и всячески разбавляет свою не сказать бы что безысходную атмосферу словесными-полушёпот вставками. Получается просто великолепно. Вроде как т не попса, но в то же время и не подвальная сырь, которую слушать невозможно. Отменнейший фунерале о жизнесозерцании и наблюдении мира...

Одни из грандов жанра. А альбом - в достойную копилку лучшего от фунерале.

Ну, знаешь, как то не нахлынуло... Я ведь привык к тому, что funeral альбомы меня валят с первого захода. Так было с Shades of, Stormcrowfleet, A Treacherous Ascension, Gudsforladt, так было с Tides of Awakening - мой лучший Funeral Dooom на всё оставшееся время. А вот с этим, извини, не получилось почувствовать собственные похороны, может ещё как-нибудь надо послушать, осенью...

This will forever be one of my personally favorite doom/death/funeral doom metal albums. Each second of this album is right on its place. The album is impossible to listen to just as some enjoyable music, it is deep and emotional and heavy - a true work of art. This, in my opinion, is an album as strong as a stone - will sit right at the top while time passes and everything changes. It will always be an extraordinary album worth coming back to.

Отличнейший музыкальный материал. Mournful Congregation - великая группа. Они практически подняли Funeral Doom с колен. А если без иронии, показали очень сильную инструментальную часть, явно показав, что Funeral это не только медленно, но и сложно. У релиза какая-то особенная теплая атмосфера, такого пограничного умиротворения, тонкой нитью проходящей между жизнью и смертью. Очень круто.

Ты прав, но частично.

Допустим, сейчас слушаю замечательный dungeon synth, многие скажут, что дескать, днём, тем более светлым, не то, надо ночью, или более того - зимой, но если музыка хороша, она хороша в любое время года, дня и ночи.

Более важен скорее внутренний настрой в определенный период времени на восприятие того или иного жанра / альбома.

Хорошая музыка хороша в любое время суток и года, но если она несёт в себе магию ночи или зимы, то и чувствуется ночью или зимой острее.
