I have returned to the old ways: dissonant quarter-tone tunings, some awkward riffs, short releases, English lyrics.
The low vocals have also made a comeback.
I am trying to come up with something meaningful to say about this release, but I am drawing a blank for the most part.
An acquaintance of mine claimed that this is the most death metal like release of mine in recent times.
I beg to differ.
It really is not.

I did break the biggest cymbal of my drum set while I was working on this release.
You can hear it in the beginning of the track Disintegration, during which it actually was disintegrating - pardon the pun.
The annoying ringing sound of the snare drum in some of the tracks is the result of me temporarily trying out this steel snare drum.
Lesson learned, my apologies.

Lyrically, this EP is heavily dominated by Thomas Ligotti ("The Shadow at the Bottom of the World", "Grimscribe", "Noctuary" ).
Osamu Dazai ("No Longer Human" ) and "The Gospel of Thomas" also made a brief appearance.
In this regard, it is definitely not as elegant and consistent as my previous full-length album (the most Biblical Ἕβελ).
