Каждый новый релиз Коляна я жду со все возрастающим страхом: когда уже нормальные песни кончатся?
Примерно по той же причине Кейв (ну, это я так представляю) переживает нешуточные волнения в связи с выходом очередного своего диска... "А ну как полное г... поназаписывал?" " А как там vam1972 его воспримет?"
В общем - дождались... Тяжелый по восприятию кусок пластмассы. Видать, все настолько фигово у Пещерова в жизни, что прям дальше некуда, и пора уже нам слать ему письма "Держись, Коля! Терпение и труд все перетрут".
Если же конкретно, то... не понравилось. Почти...
Потому что сплошная декламация (Jesus Alone, Magneto, да почти везде).
Потому что нормального звучания инструментов и нет, все что-то приглушено, убавлено, где громкость, где соло? Где нормальный звук?
Потому что нет (исключение смотри в конце) хоть одного "хита от Кейва" (некие потуги в духе ранешних времен в Girl In Amber, Anthrocene никого не обманут).
Потому что нет того голоса, нет того крика, вопля, плача, что был раньше. Больше похоже на нытье спившегося бомжа. В крайнем случае - на Лу Рида (в начале I Need You).
Подозреваю, что Кейв слишком много времени проводит с Уорреном Элисом за написанием музыки к фильмам. Пора завязывать с этим, встряхнуться, послушать, в конце концов, Weeping Song, Papa Won`t Leave You Henry, Red Right Hand.
Из интересного тут I Need You. По-настоящему, по-старому, узнаваемо хороша Skeleton Tree, ради нее только и стОит слушать альбом. Соглашусь, что еще Distant Sky хороша, но не благодаря Кейву.
