Mike Alexander runs Mount Elgon Productions in Winnipeg, in support of bands that "play raw, crusty, grindy, uncomfortable and/or challenging tunes" as well as the annual Arsonfest (1998-2015)

Cory Thomas runs Ninjacat Productions which books national touring bands, as well as runs the annual Manitoba Metalfest.

Putrescence announced their intention to break up in 2015. They made apperances at Obscene Extreme in Montreal that year, followed by Maryland Deathfest in 2016. The release of their final album, "Voiding Upon the Pulverized," coincided with their disbanding.
