В новом альбоме все хорошо. Даже слишком хорошо и правильно выверено. Без сучка и задоринки. Цельный монолит с отличным саундом и прекрасными соло ходами, которым позавидовала бы шведская школа мелодичного блэк металла, такого румяного, прямо из плиты. Мелодизм на мелодизме и мелодизмом погоняет. И, если на предыдущем Ilmestykset это выглядело очень в кассу всего материала, его хотелось Познавать и ощущать этот пульсирующий мелодизм, витиевато переливающийся из ритма в ритм, то здесь мы видим мелодизм напыщенный снующий неким драматизмом происходящего и перерастающий в фарс. Весь альбом выдержан в стиле длинной рок баллады, высокомерной и торжественной, словно Оззи Осборн бесконечно исполняет Shot In The Dark и все никак не может закончить, все тянет и тянет припев, а уставший зал скандирует уже из вежливости, говоря, давай, заканчивай уже! На ленте Laulu Kuolemasta присутствует такое же чувство, что пора бы закончить все как можно быстрее, уж очень все затянуто....Красивейшие композиции Ihtiriekko, Kylmyys и прочие - блещут парадным мелодизмом, безусловно затягивают, но в итоге вызывают досаду, нежели насыщение. Весь альбом получается какой то барский, для господ, где та всепоглощающая атмосфера мрачности при таких куплетах, которая обязана присутствовать?
Резюмируя - все это напоминает презентацию, чем что то личностное и далекое, эдакая выставка красивых безделушек, на которую можно придти, поглазеть с толпой и уйти, так и не изъявив желания что то прикупить.

альбом не плох, он просто не угнетает внутреннюю низость и не призывает гореть как прошлый. музыка для души, утомленной после боя с реальностью вокруг и в себе. пламя погасло, трупы замёрзли.
