Как всегда: тупо-грубо-монотонно; фирменные мрачные замедления; труёвая дэтовая мелодика, но утратили утробности в звуке.

Incantation на месте, мир Death Metal может быть спокоен.
Новая пластинка чертовски хороша. В ней есть все то, за что фанаты группы ценят это имя, хотя в топтании на месте этих уважаемых мужчин под предводительством МакЭнти обвинить я не посмею, т.к. музыку Incantation они преподносили, скажем так, с разных точек зрения. В очередной раз перед нами творчество несколько переосмысленное. Очевидно бросается в глаза непривычный более выраженный мелодизм в гитарной работе плюс явно добавилось атмосферных проходов. Также замечу, что коллектив работает над звуком: саунд явно подчищен в пределах разумного, стал плавнее и деликатнее, группа и инженеры провели работу по наведению резкости, лишний жирок обратили рельеф. И лично я это понимаю не как компромисс, а как метод донесения идеи. Хотя если быть до конца честным, то мой идеальный Инкантейшн 21 века это как раз 2012-2014-2017 - вязкий, темный и бесцеремонно грубый смертельный метал (про работы девяностых и говорить нечего, ибо они прекрасны по умолчанию). Все треки читаются и прекрасно различаются между собой, что для такого нишевого коллектива на четвертом десятке лет карьеры и обширной дискографии в 12 полноформатов выглядит реально большим достижением. Традиционный набор выразительных средств как всегда варьируется от удушающих замедлений до сметающей лавины звука. В очередной раз Incantation сумели выдать миру убедительный релиз, достойный звания одной из лучших пластинок года в жанре и в целом пластинку для многразового погружения. Отличная работа! |
