И все таки Monte Penumbra отличается от этой захайпованной португальской Роу БМ тусовки. As Blades In The Firmament звучит очень мрачно, почти медитативно и чертовски убедительно.Сильная сторона альбома интересная гитарная часть, множество запоминающихся риффов, умеренные заходы на диссонансные территории. Чудесно! Здесь как минимум есть что послушать и к чему хочется вернутся.

Для меня португальская сцена - это в первую очередь группы, представленные на компиляциях Lusitânia Dark Horde. Среди них некоторые очень даже raw, однако захайпованными они никогда не были.


На этих компиляция отличные банды представлены, тоже очень ценю такие имена как: Decayed, InThyFlesh, Morte Incandescente, частично Irae, но больше всего Mons Veneris хотя их творчество музыкой назвать можно с большой натяжкой, чистая ненависть переданная в грешный мир за счет экспрессии и импровизации.

Agree. Most ''raw BM'' bands are uninteresting, talentless and boring. Doesn't matter if Portuguese or American bands... Fortunately Monte Penumbra is different. It's a very good dissonant Black Metal. Another very noteworthy release by End All Life Productions. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile3.gif)

Прекрасно. Хотя и отбросил часть фишек, смог сохранить основной каркас, а также сделать упор на те элементы, что раньше были вторичны. Кого-то определенно разочарует, но лично я доволен итоговым результатом.

От Monte Penumbra есть у меня в коллекции миник The Black Realm Vigil. Его я в свое время слушал очень большое количество раз. А вот в случае с As Blades In The Firmament это либо новая ступень развития, либо эксперимент, но мне не особо понравилось.
