KRYPTAN is a fiery and compulsive new Black Metal project from songwriter/guitarist Mattias Norrman (OCTOBER TIDE, ex-KATATONIA).
Founded early 2020 at the beginning of the global pandemic, this self-titled debut EP distils a lifetime of fascination with the genre into four unsurprisingly accomplished tracks of raw, majestic and energetic Swedish Black Metal. Superbly complimented by the authority of vocalist Alexander Högbom (OCTOBER TIDE) and drummer Samuel Karlstrand (WRETCHED FATE), Norrman’s raging, melodically concise riffs bring contemporary power to influences from the ‘90s Scandinavian classics, his atmospheric leads and synth embellishments hint at both a doomier lineage and the depths of Nordic winter. With a full-length already in the works and live shows planned, KRYPTAN have arrived with purpose, using their experience and overriding passion for Black Metal to construct a consummate opening statement of iridescent intensity. |

ну так, не цепляет особо блэк от этих ребят.
Пусть лучше второй Rain Without End или, на худой конец, Thin Shell записывают. Хотя если альбом этим проектом выпустят, послушаю. |
