В первой половине альбома музло стало более грузным, тягуче-тянучим, менее мелодичным (даже сингловая Chemical Godz отличается особым минорным настроем), более давящим, чем на парочке предыдущих альбомов. Неожиданно.

Относительная лёгкость и привычная мелодишность фрагментарно появляются во второй половине релиза на Bleeding from Every Hole и Reanimating a Lie.
It's Always Worth the Gain так и вообще светла настроением.

Рад, что Кирк продолжает не застаиваться в собственных рамках, но умело играя акцентами настроения, выдаёт высококлассный сладж-продукт, за который не стыдно и на 4 десятке лет существования коллектива. В топ года полюбэ.

Пять лет назад я внимательно прослушал всю дискографию Crowbar и понял что больше я их слушать не буду.

Первые 5 песен - просто блеск, топ и класс, слушаю их каждый день. Вторая половина конечно слабее - более скучная, ненужный упор на большее ускорение темпа, её послушав тройку раз нафиг удалил, уж слишком велик контраст по сравнению с предыдущей.

Мое резюме такое - явно слабее предыдущего (а он один из лучших). В целом альбом на спаде , но ни в коем случае не плох, хотя бы из за того, что это все же тот самый Crowbar. Xотыя все мы знаем, что они могут вдарить и по-взрослому. Тут не так.

Нащёт одного из лучших в диско - не согласен, но бесспорно хорош (плохих у Кирка вообще нет).

Сабж не то, чтобы хуже, скорее более неоднороден, на прошлом не было такого контраста между крутыми темами и скучной зевотой, там все ровнее как то получилось. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/bye.gif)

Точно такие же ощущения. А лучшим считаю все-таки одноименный названию группы альбом.
Вообще, надо бы ещё послушать. На момент выхода Sever The Wicked Hand мне тоже не зашел, а альбом-то просто МОЩЬ.
