Попробую потёртый пост восстановить. Итак, буду скрупулёзно слушать песни с этого творения и переслушивать старые.

В общем подход неправильный, во всяком случае для меня. Уж лучше б перезаписали Obsessed by Cruelty. Остальное и в оригинале хорошо звучит, роднее.

И ещё замечу эти песни слушаются в контексте альбомов. Ну например, после Better Off Dead логична Resurrection, но никак не Body Parts, а после Body Parts Skinned Alive, но никак не Jabba the Hut. В общем - зря это всё. Хотя на старости лет бесятся дядьки, но блин повторюсь - лучшеб перезаписали Obsessed by Cruelty.

В целом немцы хорошо придумали и поработали, но вот звук мне показался слишком "дипломатичным". Ясен хрен, что для песен, вроде "Sepulchral Voice" и "After the Deluge" это предел мечтаний, да и "Caligula" избавилась от тупого рабочего барабана, но большинство песен он, в лучшем случае, не испортил.
К сожалению, под удар попали мои фавориты здесь - "Body Parts", "Gathering of Minds" и "Book Burning", ржаво-грязное, скрежещущее звучание которых им шло куда больше чистого, опрятного звучания здесь. И если представитель Masquerade in Blood ещё хоть как-то вывозит за счёт хардкорного перегруза, то вот, например, "Body Parts" я просто не могу слушать здесь, это словно другая песня.
