Больше всего эмоций вызвала "допись" в виде вещей группы-предшественника Salem Orchid, а именно - атмосферные и непустые "Nirvana of Agony" и "Luciferian Canto". Странная штука - идея Akercocke была заложена и обкатана столь давно, за 10 лет до настоящего становления. Хотя, тут я затыкаюсь, т.к. остальные альбомы, кроме данного, дебютного, я практически не слушал ещё.
Из основной части альбома (1999 год) можно вычленить "Marguerite & Gretchen". В данной композиции местами прослеживается добротный мелодизм.
В целом же альбом интересен только атмосферой.
И ещё, может показалось... в записях 1991 года сышится влияние Death, а в более поздних вещах (имеется в виду 1999), прослеживается почерк Illdisposed.
