Не стал бы так однозначно говорить, что эта работа на голову выше дебюта. Скорее всего - просто другая, если говорить об ощущениях. Процент фолка стал ниже, дудки пропали, открытого вокала маловато; стало больше злости, орочьих криков и блэкушного стука. Тем удивительнее было слышать пауэрные вступление и соло в Under The Banner. Несмотря на указанные отличия, и на этом альбоме полно классных мелодий - нельзя, например, не упомянуть инструментал Trollvisa или заканчивающуюся хоровым исполнением Hail Me.

Второй альбом шведов получился явно поагрессивнее и побыстрее дебюта. Причем, что характерно, при более высоком среднем темпе бластбиты практически не встречаются: двухбочечная молотилка в основном в пауэрном ключе. Звук стал помощнее, ритм-секция уже не кажется игрушечной. К сожалению, стало несколько меньше гитарных мелодий. Зато одна On Misty Pathways, как на мой вкус, по крутости этой самой мелодии уберёт любую вещь с первого альбома. Также очень клёвая лид-гитара в From the Frozen Plains. Hail Me обращает на себя внимание в первую очередь хуковым припевом - вот куда ушли недостающие гитарные мелодии. Любопытно, что минимум две песни в инструментальном плане (как ритм-секция, так и риффинг) в значительной части своего хронометража носят откровенно пауэрный характер: The Legacy и Under the Banner. Последняя гитарной мелодией явно предвосхищает будущий проект Stefan Weinerhall. Надо сказать, что каркающий скрим Rickard Martinsson не лучшим образом раскрывает мелодику в подобной стилистике, но благодаря боевитости и напористости этих композиций диссонанса не возникает.

9/12. Несколько проигрывает дебюту по мелодической части, но существенно выигрывает в драйве.
