Аналогично, звук просто раздавливает. Альбом считаю вершиной их творчества, после которой наступил постепенный спад. SYOTOS неплох довольно таки, а чем дальше тем хуже. Правда сейчас обратно реабилитировались, очевидно что Браян мотор группы и главный сонграйтер.

В ню-метале вообще проще перечислить то, что не унылое. Дебют Korn, первые альбомы Deftones (у них и средне-поздние норм, но они не ню-метал), а также... Эм... Всё.

Дебют Korn ничем положительно не выделяется на фоне других релизов группы. Насчет Deftones согласен.
Ранний Slipknot и SOAD хороши.

Ну, начнём с того, что он объективно выделяется тем, что он жёстче, мрачнее и лучше всего отражает "teenage angst", да и в целом более укоренён в металическом звучании, а то, насколько это положительно, уже оценивается субъективно.
