Bone breaking and pretty technical Death Metal from the USA. Features band members from
"Malevolent Creation". Has awesome Scott Burns mix and it's a true ball breaker!
Apperantly very hard to get item. I've had it since '92 when it fell of the back of a promo truck (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile3.gif)
Unfortunatly, the original CD is badly damaged and I could only salvage this Mp3 RIP I did of it
back in '04. Really pissed off about that, I might try take it to a CD repair place... lol

Тогда получается, что Solstice такие же отцы стиля techno death, как Death или Atheist!
Ведь на данном альбоме на 90% представлен самый настоящий олдскульный американский техно-дэт (остальные 10% - это веселая песенка S.M.D.)..

Немедленно изучаю описалово, картинки, обложки.. И натыкаюсь на знакомые фамилии и названия - James Murphy, Scott Burns, Morrisound, Malevolent Creation, Demolition Hammer, etc.. И всё встает на свои на свои места.

Типичный продукт знаменитой Morrisound Studio. Сплошь знакомые и громкие имена - Джеймс Мёрфи (Obituary, Death, Agent Steel, Cancer, Testament, Konkhra etc), сыгравший соло на Cleansed of Impurity и Survival Reaction; Крис Бёрнс (Cannibal Corpse, Six Feet Under, Torture Killer etc) и Тони ТиГарден (Cynic), подпевшие в S.M.D., кавере на Carnivore. Death-metal из Тампа-Бэй - и этим всё сказано. Мощный, тяжеленный, бескомпромиссный дэт-стаф, очень темповый, не лишённый техничности. Выделяется, на мой взгляд, тот самый карниворовский кавер - смотрится особенно клёво. Более компетентно рассказать не могу, поскольку не являюсь специалистом в этой разновидности death, но в целом, оставило определённо положительное впечатление. 7.5/10

Чего то меня вштырило! Группу уже когда то слушал, но как то прошло без эмоций, сегодня же прям открыл для себя заново сабж. Крутой дэт метал флоридкого розлива с трэшевым душком, прям как доктор прописал. Все песни отточены, подогнаны друг к другу, слабых мест просто нет, и кавер очень крут и очень в тему, сидит как влитой. Я доволен как слон.
