Как вы думаете, у мистера Винтерсорга реально есть соответствующее техническое образование, или он генерирует тонны вот этого через специальный софт?

Первые три месни - не очень удачная, усредненная калька с Borknagar - Empiricism (2001). Т.е. стилистика в наличии, интересные мелодии и решения - нет. Но с Sealed Chambers of Electricity вновь понеслась сплошная годнота: запоминающиеся мелодии, хоровые распевы, клавишные и акустический звук, в общем - все то, что полагается, когда исполняешь нормальный такой викинг/фолк-метал. Так что, в любом случае - не хуже предыдущего альбома. Больше остальных нравятся инструментал The Weight of Wind, а также Relate и Circled.

Из альбомов которые Borknagar начал исполнять в начале нового тысячелетия Epic больше всего примечателен красивыми гитарными ходами, разнообразными аранжировками и разными экстремальными и не очень вокалами. Здесь Викинг Метал очень сильно, но не до конца сдал позиции всепоглащающему прогрессив Металу. Но, тенденция наметилась и это процесс было не остановить. Очередная достойная глава в истории почитаемой группы.
