Морбидовский "Blessed Are The Sick" - альбом конечно монументальный и естественно внимания тоже заслуживает особого, но тогда и Morgoth - "Cursed" нельзя не вспомнить - как-никак отличные зачинатели европейской "флоридятины". Всё же в 1991 по части новаторства на полях классического дэта, имхо решала троица Pestilence - "Testimony Of The Ancients", Death - "Human" и Gorguts - "Considered Dead". Основная проблема - несуразные инструменталы, которых слишком много. И если Biterness и Darkening вполне ОК, то остальные так или иначе провалены. Impure и In Sorrow благополучно загублены.

Да и первая часть альбома вообще какая-то косная. Только с Prophetic Reveletions группа начинает подавать признаки жизни. И последующие песни тоже довольно хороши, но зачем было так поддушивать последний инструментал, я понять не в силах.

Ну и смена вокалиста сыграла злую шутку.

Проблема есть, и ее никуда не деть. Лучшее что можно сделать - напрочь убрать все инструменталы, кроме первого, может быть второго. Но и это не спасет первые весьма постные песни.

Язва, не я один отмечал слабость этого альбома.

Можно сколь угодно долго прикрывать лицо рукой, но бестолковые 30-секундные композиции от этого никуда не улетучатся.

Я согласен, что интерлюдии - бессмысленный шлак. Для меня удалять скучные инструменталки из альбомов - это примерно как выплевывать косточки при поедании вкусной рыбы. Так что альбом всё равно прекрасен.

Вставлю и я свои 5 копеек)самый слабый альбом пастилы)первый был башкотрясный, второй мрачный и угарный))здесь все это пропало)и интересно стало лишь на сферах))2009 такой же не интересный как этот, но хотя бы драйвовый)а последний альбом- почти шедевр)
