Третий по счету, альбом Draconian "The Burning Halo" несколько меня удивил. Группа демонстрирует полный отказ от собственного звучания, которое прослеживалось на первых работах "Arcane Rain Fell" и особенно на "Where Lovers Mourn". На "The Burning Halo" Draconian звучат как Theatre Of Tragedy и My Dying Bride середины 90-х вместе взятые. Причем, чисто брайдовская композиция "The Dying" даже носит соответствующее название! Аналогии же с норвежцами прослеживаются в большинстве вещей, вот только вокал Лизы Йоханссон значительно уступает Лив Кристин. По крайней мере на этом альбоме это отчетливо слышно, так как музыка и мужской вокал - точная копия Theatre Of Tragedy. Тем не менее, несмотря на отсутствие оригинальности диск получился превосходный, на радость всем поклонникам вышепересленных коллективов.. 9/10

Отличный диск. Спопсили, но при этом в некоторых местах углубили свою тяжесть. Хороший монолит, но зачем в конце оставили какой то распанковский тупняж в стиле Металлики? Без этого альбом только бы выиграл.
