Да альбом интересный,но чистым фолком я бы это неназвал!Да присутсвуют народные инструменты и народные мотивы,но скажем у америкосов Nile тоже есть какието египетские инструменты и мотивы в музыке,но фолком их музу неназывают!

Местами напоминает Dark Reality...только дудки наверное по-другому называются (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile1.gif) . И вообще играют так, как будто они немцы.

Не фолк! - не хватает степени синтезированности народных инструментов и основной мелодии. Дудки звучат очень завораживающе, но как-то особняком - создается стойкое ощущение, что они записывались совсем отдельно (впрочем, скорей всего, так оно и есть). Вот побольше плотность фолковой составляющей... Но зато в целом альбом получился атсмосферный, потенциал у авторов заведомо есть, если поднимутся, то может выйти и что-то гениальное, творческих им успехов!

Забавно, что начав слушать альбом, я поначалу думал, что это финны! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile1.gif) Музыка, вроде бы, это подтверждала - похоже на финские мотивы в духе Ajattara, обильно сдобренные при этом фолком. Но после 3-й композиции догадался посмотреть инфо группы, и изумился - Перу! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile1.gif) Вслушавшись более внимательно, понял, что ошибался - небольшое сходство с финским саундом есть, но именно, что небольшое. Действительно, ацтеко-перуано-подобные мотивы имеют место, а вкупе с трэш/дэтом, а также с элементами мелодик-дэта, пауэра, блэк/дэта и дэт/дума (в замедлениях), всё это вместе производит, сильное впечатление - даже большее, на мой взгляд, чем у признанных в этом отношении Tenochtitlan. Это красивая музыка, лично меня она цепляет - самое главное. Мелодии могут показаться на первый взгляд избитыми, слишком простыми, но это лишь первое впечатление. Пол Маккартни, когда он сочинил свой знаменитый мотив Yesterday, первым делом побежал сверять, у кого же он его спёр. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile1.gif) Да ни у кого не спёр! Самые гениальные мелодии - они лежат на поверхности, всё гениальное просто. Именно поэтому трудно поверить, что такой, например, ходовой (вроде как) мотивчик на флейте (0:55-1:23) из Pictures никем ещё ранее не сыгран. Кстати, Pictures - лучшая, на мой взгляд, вещь. Шикарные мелодии, содержащиеся в Nymph of the Lake, Tuta Ch'aska, Silent Notes of Agony, слушаешь, и не веришь, что вот оно, это самое "настоящее"... Мой фаворит - самая длинная и одна из самых забойных Pururauca, много всего в ней нахожу для себя. Вообще, спорить по поводу альбома глупо и бессмысленно - либо он вам нравится, и вы впускаете к себе в душу эту музыку, либо он вам не нравится, и вы ставите на нём крест... третьего не дано. В споре истина не рождается, вопреки расхожей пословице. От меня же - спасибо большое Defunct'у, который открыл для меня этот альбом. 9/10 с плюсом.

This band is originary from mi city Arequipa-Perú, the are currently reconrding a new album, the last year they played in the "Lima Metal Fest", the most bigger metal festival in Perú, and in this Weekend they will play in another festival called "Wanka Open Air" in a place near to the city of Huancayo (Wanka is a word about a pre-hispanic culture wich is located in the central region of actual Perú). Greetings from Perú and sorry for my bad english.
