Extended info
Nazwa brzmi epicko, jest pełna mocy i doskonale oddaje charakter nowego albumu. „Evaneglion” wywodzi się z Greki i znaczy tyle co „głosić słowo Boże” lub „nieść dobrą nowinę”. Płyta „Evangelion” Behemoth ukaże się w Polsce siódmego sierpnia. Bohaterem okładki nie jest jakby się mogło wydawać Doda lecz Nierządnica Babilonu, która dosiada siedmiogłową bestię. Święci tego świata oddają jej hołd zaś u jej stóp leżą rozbite tablice z dziesięcioma przykazaniami.
Oto jak Nergal opisał nową szatę graficzną swoimi słowami:

"Na "Evangelion" staraliśmy się przedstawić formę czystą i bezpośrednią zarazem ... jednocześnie zależało nam na epickim, dystyngowanym charakterze oprawy graficznej tej płyty. Po raz kolejny pracowaliśmy z Tomaszem Daniłowiczem, który wykonał zdecydowanie najlepszą ilustrację dla Behemoth ze wszystkich dotychczasowych. Obraz przedstawia "Wielką Nierządnicę Babilonu", która dosiada siedmiogłową bestię. Święci tego świata oddają jej hołd zaś u jej stóp leżą rozbite tablice z 10 przykazaniami. Jest to nasza wizja, nasza interpretacja tej nowotestamentowej przypowieści, w której "kurwa Babilonu" jest symbolem buntu oraz opozycji przeciwko Bogu. Od dawna jestem zafascynowany historiami mającymi swoje źródła w Biblii, niejednokrotnie wykorzystywaliśmy jej symbolikę w tekstach czy na okładkach płyt. Zawsze jednak były one przefiltrowane przez moje doświadczenie i światopogląd. Uwielbiam żonglować, bawić się symbolami ... tak też jest i tym razem. Bohaterka naszej nowej okładki jest archetypem nieposłuszeństwa, indywidualności, samostanowienia i wolnej, nieskrępowanej woli. Są to uniwersalne słowa-klucze, tak charakterystyczne i decydujące by zrozumieć charakter naszej twórczości ... i prawdziwej natury człowieka."

"... (...) I ujrzałem Niewiastę pijaną krwią świętych i krwią świadków Jezusa, a widząc ją, bardzo się zdumiałem. I rzekł do mnie anioł: Czemu się zdumiałeś ? Ja ci wyjaśnię tajemnicę Niewiasty i Bestii, która ją nosi, a ma siedem głów i dziesięć rogów." (Ap.17:1-7).

Не могу сказать, что этот альбом особенный в дискографии, скорее - один из самых медийных с тремя клипами, последующим двд и большими турами. Это "стабильный" бегемот, тот, который все ждали и предвидели в те годы...
