Не каждой банде удастся так соединить башкотряс польской школы, умеренную навороченность (но не техничность!), трэшевые элементы и спрятанную где-то в недрах жёсткого молотилова swedish-атмосферу.

На первый план вынесен вокал. Как правило в большинстве случаев это только грузит композицию, подменяя акценты и тем самым отодвигая назад работу ритм-гитариста и басиста. Здесь этого не произошло и объёмный, грубый и живой вокал играет роль дополнительного инструмента, усиливая впечатление от первоклассной игры барабанщика. Изредка из нутра жёстких риффов выплывают соло и дуофонические мелодии, а в общем 40 с лишним минут проносятся как одна и хочется в очередной раз нажать на repeat в плеере.

Рекомендую DetermiNation всем, кто ценит качественный thrash, шведскую школу DM, творчество групп Dies Irae, Vader и альбом 2008го года Esqarial.

Death from Poland - это уже марка, своего рода знак качества, такой же, как и shvedish melodic-death, или techno-death from Canada. Trauma чётко и уверенно держат марку своего сообщества. Не слышал других их работ, но Determination - сильный альбом. Более всего остального импонирует звучание ритм-гитары, техничной и постоянно ищущей разнообразия. Не сказал бы, что эта музыка мелодична - мелодичности как таковой мало, разве что As Never Before чуть помелодичнее остальных. По сложившейся традиции выделю 3 самых лучших номера: оригинально-ритмичный The Loneliest, зубодробительный Frozen God и просто клёвый Determination. Качественный альбом высокого уровня в стиле death. 8/10
