Additional notes

The band was originally called Hullu ukko ja kotiteollisuus (Mad Gaffer and Handcraft), but after Aki Virtanen left the band, they shortened their name to Kotiteollisuus. The band released four demos, one single and their first full-length under the original name.

Kotiteollisuus and another Finnish band (Viikate) have also been acting from 2009 as punk rock / hardcore acts under pseudonyms 'Koljosen tiekiista' (Road dispute of Koljonen) and 'Kuolleet lesket' (Dead widows). These bands released in 2009 an eight track 7" split EP "Alibi", pressing of 500 copies.
