Да, конечно тех Rhapsody уже нет, но я не считаю это каким-то громадным минусом или неверным шагом для группы.
На самом деле ребята молодцы, они с годами не стоят на месте. Группа прогрессирует и преподносит уже нечто новое, но не отступая от того с чего начинали много лет назад. Манера игры и исполнения всё равно осталась и угадывается сразу.
Лично мне эта епэшка понравилась. Нет, ну, маловато, конечно, но всё равно музыка отличная.

Тотальный перебор с речами персонажей (IMG:style_emoticons/default/22.gif) , но если отбросить этот мусор, то получится вплне узнаваемый Rhapsody (последних 5-7-ми лет).

"The Cold Embrace of Fear" is excellent! It sounds every bit of how Rhapsody of Fire is supposed to sound. "The Frozen Tears of Angels" was pretty much just stripped down, straight-foward, guitar oriented power metal. If I wanted to hear that sound, I could just listen to Stratovarius, Sonata Arctica, or any one of the hundreds of other bands performing that same style of power metal. I think the "Film Score" atmosphere is probably the main element that defines Rhapsody's sound for me, and sets them apart from all the other power metal clones. Other than maybe Thy Majestie's "Hastings 1066","Jeanne D'arc", and a couple others, there aren't many other albums or bands that capture the "Film Score" atmosphere, which to me, is what has always made Rhapsody's music interesting and unique.
